Evidence-based policy is the fashion of the day. But what does it mean in practice, and what have we learned from different approaches to evidence-based policy and practice around the world?
This talk will present ten principles for evidence-based policy and practice, including using the right evidence to answer the question, the need to draw on the global evidence base to answer questions, addressing second generation questions, and making evidence accessible. Examples will be used from a range of sectors with policy experiences from around the world
Lunch will be provided. Places are limited.
