Thesis Title: Building Solidarity and Inclusion in the Classroom: The Good Behaviour Game.
Summary of Research: My research involves implementing techniques of behaviour analysis to create and evaluate different variations of the Good Behaviour Game. While there is ample research evidence of the effectiveness of the GBG with regards to enhancing behaviour in mainstream classrooms, there is less research on the variations of the GBG that may be required to enhance inclusive practices. The aim of the research is to develop and evaluate specific variations of GBG and answer research questions with regards to the effectiveness of these variations within different settings and for different individuals.
Personal Statement: I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Ulster, Coleraine. I then applied for a postgraduate position at Queens, Belfast and was thrilled to be accepted as a research student and to continue my studies under a DEL studentship.
