Summer Research Programme
The CCRCB Summer Research Programme provides an excellent opportunity for promising young students to undertake a short research project for eight weeks over the summer period.
Our research placements run from mid June to mid August with a stipend of £150 per week. Students are expected to be available for the whole eight weeks and holidays should be planned outside of this period.
Students will undertake a lab based project which will include a short report and poster presentation. We offer projects in the following areas:
- Breast / ovarian cancer
- Prostate cancer
- Blood cancer (leukaemia / lymphoma / myeloma)
- GI cancer
- Stratified Medicine
- Medicinal Chemistry
- Molecular Pathology
The application process for the CCRCB Summer Research Programme 2020 will open on Monday 2nd December 2019.
