Additional Information:

Deirdre is a researcher with over eight years of experience, three of which have been with the Centre for Data Digitisation and Analysis. She holds a B.A. (Cum Laudae) in Anthropology from the University of California Los Angeles, a M.Sc. in Osteoarchaeology from the University of Edinburgh, and a Ph.D. in Palaeopathology from Queen’s University Belfast. Prior to joining the CDDA team, Deirdre was a senior human remains osteologist on the Ranelagh Osteoarchaeological Project at Queen’s University Belfast.  Since starting at CDDA she has been a key player, supporting the PEACE IV Ballykinlar History Hut Project and the Lough Erne Spiritual Trail project with her expertise in desktop-based research and oral history collection. In her role as an IT Analyst Deirdre has assisted in the development of an input interface to aid museum staff and volunteers at the Inniskillings Museum, Co. Fermanagh, with creating a digital archive of the museum’s collections.
