Jayne specialises in the conduct of human nutrition intervention studies with whole foods and whole diets examining clinically relevant endpoints, in interventions to promote long term dietary change, and in the assessment of diet using biomarkers. She has published widely in the nutrition field and has current funding from the Medical Research Council, National Prevention Research Initiative, Safefood, National Institute for Health Research and Wellcome Trust.

Jayne is Editor-in-Chief of Nutrition Research Reviews and Chair of the Irish Section of the Nutrition Society.
