Dr Laura Dunne

Laura’s research interests lie in three main areas; health and wellbeing, child development, and programme evaluation. She has extensive experience conducting both quantitative and qualitative research. Laura currently works on the Wellbeing in Schools (WiSe) project, a large scale longitudinal survey which explores health and wellbeing in Northern Ireland post-primary schools. She has managed a number of major evaluation and research projects including the evaluation of Croydon Council’s Functional Family Therapy programme, Cancer Focus NI’s Dead Cool smoking prevention programme, Barnardo’s Ready to Learn afterschool literacy programme and the Lifestart parenting programme in Ireland.
