Viva Success for CESI PhD student Emma Loudon

CESI PhD student Emma Loudon has successfully defended her thesis, entitled "Family experiences of parental mental illness in Northern Ireland: A social phenomenological study".

CESI PhD student Emma Loudon has successfully defended her thesis, entitled "Family experiences of parental mental illness in Northern Ireland: A social phenomenological study".

Emma's work has been supervised by Professor Kathryn Higgins (CESI Director), Professor Gavin Davidson (CESI Fellow and School of Social Sciences Education and Social Work) and Dr Anne Grant (CESI Fellow and School of Nursing and Midwifery).

Her examiners were Professor Darryl Maybery (Monash University) and Dr Lorna Montgomery (School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work, QUB).

Emma passed with minor corrections.
