Emily Follis (née Davis)
Role: Field Research Technician
Background: Emily has a research background in the conservation management of priority/rare species, employing both ecological and molecular techniques. Prior to joining the CIRB project team, she completed a BSc (Hons) Zoology (2004-2007) and a PhD in Conservation Biology and Genetics (2007-2010) at Queen’s University, Belfast.

Christie Greer
Role: Field Research Technician
Background: Christie has considerable experience working on environmental projects for the NIEA, the University of Ulster’s Northern Ireland Countryside Survey and private consultancy firms. His roles at NIEA have included Scientific Officer at the North West Nature Reserves and Water Quality Sampler with the Water Management Unit in Limavady. He has also been employed as a Ranger at various NIEA and National Trust sites. Prior to this, he completed a BSc (Hons) Environmental Science at University of Ulster, Coleraine.

Maurice Turley
Role: Field Research Technician
Background:Maurice has worked in the environmental sector for over 10 years. Before joining CIRB, he has previously worked for various local environmental NGOs, in the education sector and for local council, carrying out roles that include advisor on conservation issues, environmental management and environmental education.

Ciara McKay
Role:
Field Research Technician
Background:
Ciara has experience in both the public and private environmental sectors working throughout Northern Ireland and Canada. Her previous work focussed primarily on freshwater and riparian habitats and included surveying, data analysis and reporting. Prior to this, Ciara graduated from the University of Ulster in 2010 with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science.
