The Centre for Intelligent Sustainable Computation, CISC combines rigour and excellence in fundamental research with real-world societal and economic impact. Informed and motivated by real-world problems, the Centre brings together our underpinning research in artificial intelligence, scalable algorithms, novel energy-efficient hardware, and maintainable software to develop intelligent and sustainable technologies of the future through a programme of translation and innovation that leverages and strengthens regional priorities and investments.  The Centre’s goal is to establish QUB as the UK’s leading university for the translation and application of fundamental research in computer science and engineering.
