Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition
Congratulations to members of the Jessup team who have been competing in the National and Global rounds of the competition.
Advocates: Sarah Sharman and Sian Barker
Researchers: Matthew Hunt, Darcy Rollins and Corey Flynn
The team have been competing in the National and Global rounds of the Jessup competition which brings together law students and legal professionals for the largest virtual moot court competition in the world.
The problem addresses any current international legal issues including a global pandemic and the obligations and responses of States with respect to the outbreak.
It also involves question of the jurisdiction of the Court, a desperate claim for political asylum by an alleged rogue scientist and the State responsibility for a suspicious aircraft explosion.
