Mission Africa is always on the look out for suitably qualified people to teach in their theological colleges. The normal minimum level of qualification would be an MTh. They have a particular need for those with qualifications in OT, NT, Church History and Systematic / Historical Theology. However, they will still give consideration to those coming with other skill sets; there are much reduced requirements for lecturers in pastoralia, missiology, etc., but if they are prepared to lecture in other areas, they can still be used in the colleges.
In very limited circumstances, they will take those holding a First class honours onto the Lecturer Development Scheme. Those accepted to the scheme would be expected to teach for 2 years, after which Mission Africa would sponsor them - probably in whole - to do an MTh; following the successful completion of the degree, Mission Africa would expect them to teach for a further 4 years.
The normal provisos apply - those wishing to join the mission have to demonstrate a call to mission work and be in agreement with our doctrinal standards.
