Accreditation
What is Accreditation?
Accredited degree programmes offer students and employers a mark of assurance that the degree programme meets the standards defined and set by the relevant profession. Accredited degree programmes help make students aware that such professional recognition is available to them and provide them with their first steps towards gaining professional recognition, which will help them to progress in their careers. Many professional bodies offer examination exemptions from their professional qualifications to students who have studied accredited degree programmes. This ensures students can start their studies at a level that is consistent with the knowledge and skills gained from their degree programme. More information can be found on the relevant course webpage.
