Queen’s Management School in strategic partnership with Tayto, have a charitable programme called Facilitaytors, which encourages students to become more socially responsible and raise monies for a local charity through a range of School based and student organised events. The School's current charity, chosen by students, is PIPS (Public Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide & Self-Harm).
PIPS Charity can provide support to individuals who are considering, or who have at some point considered, ending their own lives. PIPS can also provide support for families who have been touched by suicide.
Mental health is an issue that we all must consider. Those that have issues often struggle to seek or find help and PIPS are working locally to change that. Through our partnership with PIPS we hope not only to raise funds but also raise awareness of suicide and self-harm amongst students and staff.
