Ed is the author or editor of over 30 volumes, 150 articles and several books in the areas of stakeholder management, business strategy and business ethics. He is perhaps best known for his award winning book: Strategic Management: A Stakeholder Approach (Cambridge, 2010).  Originally published in 1984, Ed traces the origins of the stakeholder idea to a number of others and suggests that businesses build their strategy around their relationships with key stakeholders.

In his presentation for CLEO, Ed, explores the recent wave of proposed reforms to the underlying story of business. It identifies five key issues for the reforms to be successful. It examines additional challenges to the ethics of capitalism.
