RESEARCH FOCUS

Professor Kenny's research interests lie in whistleblowing, organizational culture, identity and power. In particular, she is interested in psychoanalytic and poststructural approaches to these topics, and in the broader field of Critical Management Studies.

She has recently held fellowships at the Edmond J Safra Lab at Harvard University (2013-15) and Cambridge Judge Business School (2008-2016).

Empirical research includes projects on speaking up in contemporary organizations (with Professor Marianna Fotaki at Warwick Business School, supported by the British Academy/ Leverhulme Trust), speak-up systems in organizations (with Dr Wim Vandekerckhove and Professor Marianna Fotaki, supported by ESRC/ ACCA) and a recent ESRC Transformative Grant towards examining post-disclosure survival strategies by organizational whistleblowers.
