Innovative Thinking

To make an impact in the world of business innovation, Queen's Management School links together expert academics, talented graduates, and businesses across the world. We encourage sharing of expertise, ideas, data and experiences, so that the process is mutually beneficial for everyone involved.

Innovation Voucher
What could a £5,000 Innovation Voucher do for your business?

Do you have an innovation project that could lead to the development of a new or improved product, service, business model, or process?

Will it create value in your business, produce new profits or help grow the business? If so, then an Innovation Voucher could help support this.

£5K Innovation Vouchers allow businesses or potential entrepreneurs to access expertise from Queen's Management School, as a public sector knowledge provider, for innovative projects.

Applications must be submitted through Invest NI.

More details on Innovation Vouchers.

To discuss how to work with Queen's Management School with an Innovation Voucher, contact Michael McCleave, Consultancy Manager, on 02890971329 or m.mccleave@qub.ac.uk.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
A mutually beneficial, three-way collaborative innovation project.

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) drives a business innovation project and is designed to bring about lasting, transformative change. It's a three way collaboration between:

  • A business (a company of any size, in any sector or a not-for-profit organisation)
  • A University / research institution (knowledge base)
  • A graduate or post graduate (known as an Associate)

The project is led by a suitably qualified graduate (known as the Associate) with the capability to lead a strategic project with full support and input from the academic and business teams. This partnership embeds vital new expertise, stimulates business growth and powers innovation excellence.

More information on KTPs for businesses.

Examples of KTP case studies.

To discuss how to work with Queen's Management School on a KTP, please contact Julie McCandless, Director of Business Engagement, on 028 9097 5442 or j.mccandless@qub.ac.uk.
