Congratulations to Mairéad Connor who won the Young Irish Microbiologist of the Year for her talk on Clostridium difficile

Mairéad Connor won the Young Irish Microbiologist of the Year at the recent Microbiology Society Irish Division meeting for her talk on Clostridium difficile in Northern Ireland. She will now go on and represent the Irish Division at the next Microbiology Society meeting and compete for the Sir Harold Dalton Young Microbiologist of the Year prize.
