Undergraduate Food Degrees
Undergraduate degrees are specifically designed to focus on areas of particular relevance to the future and the global food supply chain. The ultimate intention is to give graduates the competitive edge to meet the challenges posed by European enlargement and an increasingly global marketplace. The undergraduate degrees offered by the School of Biological Sciences focus on contemporary food, animal and human health issues pertaining to agriculture and food industries.
There is considerable interdisciplinary interaction within the Institute, both in teaching and research as well as collaboration with the Institute for Global Food Security.

New International Partnership for Vietnamese Students
Queen’s University Belfast and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology have developed a new partnership creating a pathway for students to achieve
a BSc in Food Quality, Safety and Nutrition.
Students follow a two-year Foundation Programme in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and complete their BSc qualification in Queen’s University Belfast.
