The Bryden Centre
The Bryden Centre is focused on harnessing the potential of marine renewable energy.
The Centre is a €9.4 million cross-border, renewable energy research centre funded by the EU under the Interreg VA programme. Led from Queen’s University Belfast, the Bryden Centre covers the Northern Ireland, Western Scotland and the Irish border regions. Renewable energy represents a major opportunity for this interregional area with many geographic, economic and demographic characteristics that provide a distinctive competitive advantage in a global marketplace. |
