'Inequality and Discrimination in Smart Cities: Data Determinism in the New Machine Age'

My research project is supported by the Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Cybersecurity and Society (LINCS). This project falls under one of the Network's broader themes - technology and ethics. My research will examine the legal and ethical implications of smart city technology and the datafication of citizens' private information. My research interests are surveillance, privacy, discrimination, citizenship, applied ethics and the philosophy of technology.
