May 8th – 4:30 – 6pmIn a talk hosted by the Institute of Irish Studies on the reform of abortion law in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, the law school’s Dr Kathryn McNeilly spoke about reproductive rights in the Northern Irish context with a focus on how human rights discourse can help to improve these rights. Dr McNeilly was joined by Dr. Mairead Enright from Birmingham University who reflected on the role of women’s narratives in the Repeal the 8th Referendum.
