Royal Institution Mathematics Masterclasses

Calling all budding young mathematicians (aged between √169 and √196 years)

We would like to invite schools to nominate pupils to attend Saturday morning Royal Institution (Ri) Mathematics Masterclasses, jointly hosted by Queen’s University Belfast and W5. This programme is free of charge.  

Ri Mathematics Masterclasses are series of workshops which are led by experts from industry, academia and education. They offer students in-depth investigations of topics in mathematics combining theory with interactive exploration. We will open their eyes to the world of mathematics and hope to inspire them to continue their engagement with the subject.

Please note that the closing date for submissions is quite soon– 20th September– so please do not delay your application. Any questions which are not answered in the documents below may be sent to maths.masterclass@qub.ac.uk
