Girls in Maths 2019
Thursday 2 May 2019
This is an event to inspire budding young female mathematicians (and their teachers!). Bringing together inspirational speakers, fun activities and real life working mathematicians, the event is targeted at girls aged 12-16 who have shown interest in mathematics and its applications.
This year we are delighted to welcome Professor Tara Brendle, head of Mathematics at the University of Glasgow who will be giving the keynote talk on her life and career in mathematics.
The event is sponsored by Queen’s School of Mathematics and Physics and the Athena SWAN Initiative
