Dr Lisa McFetridge has been been nominated and elected to the Council of the Royal Statistical Society.
The Royal Statistical Society is one of the world’s leading organisations to promote the importance of statistics and data with more than 9,000 members in the UK and across the world. As a charity, the RSS advocates the key role of statistics and data in society and works to ensure that policy formulation and decision making are informed by evidence for the public good.
The Council of the RSS is the governing body of the Society and manages the organisation's activities, income, funds and property with the focus of achieving the Society's vision of a world with data at the heart of understanding and decision making.
