Helen Kerr runner up in the Northern Ireland Nurse Researcher of the Year Awards

At the Royal College of Nursing awards ceremony at Hillsborough Castle on 12th May, Helen Kerr, lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, QUB was announced runner up in the Northern Ireland Nurse Researcher of the Year category. Helen's research focused on identifying the factors that contribute to an effective transition from children's to adult services for young adults with life-limiting conditions in Ireland and was funded by the AIIHPC and HSC PHA R&D Division. Helen's Doctoral research was supervised by Dr Peter O'Halloran, Dr Honor Nicholl and Dr Jayne Price.
