CQC staff secure University Teaching Award 2018

Congratulations to the CQC staff who were recognised at the University Teaching Awards 2018 Excellence in Teaching by a Team category.

Three teams from the MHLS Faculty were acknowledged including the School of Pharmacy, Queen’s China College and the School of Biological Sciences.

The Award was presented to the team who have developed and are delivering Pharmacy education at Queen’s University’s first international branch campus jointly with China Medical University (CMU).  The team has worked collaboratively to provide solutions to a range of challenges involved in delivering transnational education, including innovative teaching and assessment approaches to enhance student learning, which is already having a positive effect on student performance.

Team Members include: Dr Yi Ge, Professor Gavin Andrews, Dr Dan Corbett, Dr Maryam Malekigorji, Dr Min Zhao, Dr Vasanth Palanimuthu, Dr David Wright, Julie Tomes and Cathy Short, China Queen’s College/School of Pharmacy, Professor David Rooney, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Lin Bai, School of Law

 

Delighted to announce our CQC team have won a QUB teaching award.   They have developed and are delivering Pharmacy education at Queen’s University’s first international branch campus jointly with China Medical University (CMU).
