RESEARCH FOCUS

Dr. Barry is a qualified pharmacist and health services researcher. She is Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy, QUB. Her research interests relate to service delivery and organisation of care, specifically focusing on the primary care setting, older people and those with dementia, prescribing and medicines management. Her work usually takes a mixed-methods approach. Heather has a strong current interest in how pharmacists can be appropriately utilised to relieve current pressures within general practice and primary care.
