School of Pharmacy

Dr Lamprou’s Research Group is applying Nano and Microfabrication Techniques in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturing. More specifically, the areas of interest include: Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing & Bioprinting), Electrospinning (Melt & Solution), and Microfluidics (Micro/Nano Particle Formulation & Chip Manufacturing). With several laboratories, which are fitted with modern equipment, the Group offers an excellent environment for research.

  • 3D Printing Manufacturing of drug delivery systems & medical devices.
  • 3D Bioprinting applications in pharmaceutics and tissue engineering.
  • Manufacturing of nanofibers for drug delivery and tissue engineering applications.
  • Engineering of novel drug delivery systems using microfluidics.
