Dr Taylor’s work on social mobility in creative and cultural work has had major impact on national policy surrounding access to cultural occupations. His book ‘Culture is bad for you’ co-authored with Professor Dave O’Brien and Dr Orian Brook is a must-read for anyone interested in the hidden codes and barriers to cultural work.
