Professor Anandi Ramamurthy, Sheffield Hallam University and Professor Kehinde Andrews, Birmingham City University, ‘Black Curriculums Matter: Diversifying UK University History Syllabuses for the 21st Century.’

The growth of the Black Lives Matter movement led to the intensification of demands for the diversification of syllabi across the arts and humanities, in the US, UK, Ireland and beyond. In this talk, two leading scholars, Professor Anandi Ramamurthy and Professor Kehinde Andrews, explore what this process looks like in practice, the barriers that still exist and the strategies that can be deployed moving forward.

This event will be held in-person at Queen's University Belfast.
