Queen's and Malaysia

Queen's University and Malaysia have a long standing close relationship of over 50 years. Currently 140 Malaysian students are enrolled.
The University has a number of institutional links in Malaysia. These include a joint research Centre for Public Health in International Medical University (IMU), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and Taylor’s University College amongst others.
Malaysia, with almost 2,000 alumni has the largest number of Queen's graduates outside the British Isles. The Queen's University Alumni Association of Malaysia (QUAAM) website can be found at: www.qua-malaysia.org and Associate level membership is available for current students.
Previous distinguished graduates from Malaysia include: YBM Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, YB Dato' Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik (Patrons of QUAAM), Professor Tan Sri Datuk Dr Anuwar Ali (President of QUAAM), Datuk Rafiah Salim and Dato’ Dominic Puthucheary (Vice-Presidents of QUAAM).
