NICILT RESOURCE CENTRE
The Resource Centre is home to a collection of materials to facilitate and support language teaching and learning at all levels and ages.
NICILT is one of a kind in Northern Ireland and is open to the public Monday to Friday 9.30am-1pm and 2-5pm, and at other times by arrangement. If you have a language-learning interest, query or you would like to simply browse our range of resources please feel free to pay us a visit or get in touch.
NICILT keeps the most recent and up-to-date textbooks for the teaching of French, Spanish, Irish and German.
Resources vary from primary language teaching to A-level and adult language teaching. Alongside textbooks NICILT also keeps examples of teacher guidebooks, assessment and resources files, workbooks, readers and literary texts. There is also a selection of props and games to stimulate pupil engagement.
Films now feature on A-level Language examinations and NICILT houses a collection of DVDs in languages other than English to be viewed on the premises or borrowed by special request. At NICILT you can also find curriculum support materials, examination materials (past papers, specifications and support packs) as well as publishers' catalogues.
