Registration Rates & Booking

We have worked hard with our sponsors and suppliers to finalise registration fees that are as low as possible given the current economic difficulties.
ISSID members are entitled to a discounted rate for the conference, so please check your membership status before registering for the conference. Information on how to check your membership status, renew membership or join ISSID can be found on the ISSID Membership Page.
We are pleased to offer a special rate for students and individuals from countries defined by the World Bank as 'low' or 'lower-middle' income economies.
The conference opening session will be on Monday 17th July stating at approximately 18.00, and the conference will end on Friday 21st July after lunch.
Conference Registration Rates
The Full-Conference registration rates in the table below include the following:
- Access to all Keynote, Individual Paper and Symposia Sessions
- Morning and Afternoon Tea/Coffee Refreshments each day
- Hot Finger-Buffet Lunch (Tuesday-Thursday) with a grab-and-go packed lunch on Friday
- Conference Drinks Receptions (Welcome Reception and Poster Session I)
- Conference Pack (Bag, Notebook, Programme, Pen etc.)
The Daily Rate is for individuals wish to attend on selected days only. For each day of registration, this rate includes:
- Access to Keynote, Individual Paper and Symposia Sessions
- Morning and Afternoon Tea/Coffee Refreshments
- Hot Finger-Buffet Lunch (available Tuesday-Thursday) or grab-and-go packed lunch on Friday
- Conference Drinks Receptions being held on each day registered
- Conference Pack (Bag, Notebook, Programme, Pen etc.)
The Accompanying Partner Rate is available for delegates whose partner will be joining them at conference, but who will not be a participant in conference sessions. This rate includes access to the following for the full-conference for partners of delegates:
- Morning and Afternoon Tea/Coffee Refreshments
- Hot Finger-Buffet Lunch (Tuesday-Thursday) with a grab-and-go packed lunch on Friday
- Conference Drinks Receptions

Students and Low/Low-Middle Income Economy Rates
We are delighted to offer a special discounted rate to students and individuals from the List of Low and Low-Middle Income Economy Countries as defined by the World Bank, 2023. These rates are for the Full-Conference and include the following:
- Access to all Keynote, Individual Paper and Symposia Sessions
- Morning and Afternoon Tea/Coffee Refreshments each day
- Hot Finger-Buffet Lunch each day (Tuesday-Friday) with grab and go packed lunch on Friday
- Conference Drinks Receptions (Welcome Reception and Poster Session I/Meet the Editors Event)
- Conference Pack (Bag, Notebook, Programme, Pen etc.)

In order to book a student or low/low-middle income rate, please email proof of your eligibility to issid2023@qub.ac.uk and we will reply by email with instructions to make an online booking (these special rates will not appear on the standard registration system linked to on this page). All proofs of eligibility for special conference rates will be deleted once verified.
Students can provide one of the following proofs of eligibility:
- a scanned image of a valid student card for their academic institution stating their name
- a signed letter from their academic supervisor/department chair confirming their status as a student
Individuals from a low or middle-low income economy country can provide one of the following:
- a signed letter from their department chair/institution official confirming that they are based in a country on our List of Low and Low-Middle Income Economy Countries
