The School of Psychology welcomes Dr Nargis Khan
Dr Nargis Khan - Research Fellow
Nargis has recently joined the School of Psychology after completing her PhD from Ulster University in 2020. Nargis’s PhD focused on parents’ influence on their children’s friendships in a cross-cultural context. She adopted a mixed-method approach to pursue her research.
Nargis has now joined the Peace IV project led by Dr Danielle Blaylock. This project focuses on the impact evaluation of the Peace IV Specific Objective 2.1 Children and Young People Programmes. The programmes funded through Specific Objective 2.1 are expected to offer young people from disadvantaged communities a chance to take part in outcomes-focused programmes that will cultivate competencies pertaining to three outcome areas including, Good Relations, Personal Development, and Citizenship.
