INTRODUCTION
This webpage contains information about education and training opportunities offered by the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme at Queens. We welcome attendance at any of our events from the psychological therapies workforce in Northern Ireland, and some events will also be open to the wider public (see each event listing for further details). The events have been compiled by the Programme Team of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) at QUB in conjunction with external stakeholders.
If you have any queries about education and training or any of the information provided here, please contact Dr Chris Graham or Programme Secretary, Jayne Kennedy by emailing dclinpsy@qub.ac.uk
We offer the following Interprofessional Learning:
For trained clinicians working to improve mental health and well-being using psychological therapies (clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, trainees, mental health nurses, CBT therapists etc.), we will be offering CPD workshops. Experts in various modalities of psychological therapy will offer up to date training in emerging therapy models.
We will also be offering longer training courses for practicing clinicians, stretching over several days. These will provide more intensive training which is accredited and verifiable.
