On her rescheduled March visit, Denise will be conducting 1-1 sessions with students (by appointment) and hosting a poetry workshop and a morning seminar. Students are requested to book for either the workshop OR the seminar, not both. These sessions are open to current MA and PhD students of poetry at Queen's University Belfast and booking is essential.

Denise Riley lives in London. Her writing includes poetry, the history of ideas, and philosophy. Among her prose books are War in the Nursery: Theories of the Child and Mother , ‘Am I That Name?’ Feminism and the Category of 'Women' in History , The Words of Selves: Identification, Solidarity, Irony (2000), The Force of Language (with Jean-Jacques Lecercle; 2004), and Impersonal Passion: Language as Affect (2005).
