A one-day walking tour on Saturday 14 October, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

19th Century South Belfast was the town’s first major prestigious suburb clustering around the new symbol of prosperity – Queen’s College Belfast.  It became a showcase for the best public and residential architecture. Who were the ‘builders’ (this includes architects, construction firms and developers) of Queen’s and surrounding buildings and the shapers of South Belfast?  We start from Queen’s University main entrance and walk from Mount Charles to the Malone/ Stranmillis junction with an opportunity for lunch.  Please note lunch is not included in the cost of the course.)
