New report on improving the well-being of disabled adolescents

Improving the well-being of disabled adolescents

In a report by the Institute of Child Care Research, funded by the Public Health Agency, young people with disabilities express how they feel about their own well-being and how they experience everyday life. Through conversations with 37 disabled adolescents, the report ‘Improving the Well-being of Disabled Young People’ identifies common triggers for positive and negative feelings and highlights opportunities for enhancing well-being.

The report by Dr Grace Kelly, Dr Berni Kelly and Professor Geraldine Macdonald, presents a number of key messages to inform policy and practice and can be accessed here
