Dr Bronagh Byrne was delighted to receive the Most Involved Teaching Staff Award at the Student’s Union Education Awards. Bronagh was commended for her work in supporting students with disabilities in the School.
We are delighted to congratulate Dr Bronagh Byrne, a Lecturer in Social Policy, as a worthy winner of the ‘Most Involved’ category at the 2016 Queen’s Students’ Union Education Awards. Dr Byrne was particularly commended for her role in advancing recognition of the rights of students with disabilities in the School of Sociology, Social Policy and Social Work. Warm congratulations, too, to our School colleagues shortlisted for teaching staff awards: Grainne Boyle, Joe Duffy, Katy Hayward and Tanya Serisier. QUBSU Education Awards celebrate academic excellence and reward staff, students and Schools for their contribution to assuring and enhancing the quality of education and the student experience at Queen’s.
