Visit by Belmont University, Nashville

School of SSESW colleague Joe Duffy (Social Work) had a busy but delightful week recently connecting a lovely visiting group of academics and students from Belmont University in Nashville with staff and students in SSESW and beyond. The visitors heard from SSESW colleagues about activities underway around Adverse Childhood Experiences and Trauma Informed Care (Suzanne Mooney) and the role of education in divided and conflict-affected societies and conflict transformation (Lesley Emerson). After the presentations, they visited Lagan College in Belfast where they were warmly welcomed and got an overview of the integrated education experience. We look foward to welcoming Belmont colleagues to Queen's again soon.
