Human Trafficking Awareness Raising
Organised by Zoe Burke (pictured above), level 3 social work student, and supported by Danielle Mackle and Karen Winter, guest speakers from No More Traffik and Barnardo’s Independent Guardian Service worked with a group of students for the day.

Zoe worked really hard to pull this all together and it was fantastic to see so many social work students engaged in enhancing their understanding of trafficking from a global and local perspective.
Human trafficking is an emerging and rapidly growing social issue and the response required from agencies is multifaceted and requires interdisciplinary engagement. We are committed to continuing to raise awareness of this issue across all professional disciplines.
