In pictures: International Women's Day celebrated with Queen's Gender Initiative networking lunch
Queen's Gender Initiative brought female staff together for a networking lunch on Wednesday 6 March to celebrate International Women's Day 2019.

This year's theme is 'Balance for Better' a call to action for driving gender balance across the world.
Hosted by Queen's Gender Initiative Director and Athena SWAN Academic Lead, Professor Karen McCloskey, the event, which took place in the Canada Room/Council Chamber, brought together researchers and female staff from across the University.
The keynote speaker at the event was Ms Lisa McLaughlin, Director – UK/US & EMEA, Alternative Legal Services at Herbert Smith Freehills.
