If you are from one of the following countries and Police Registration is a condition of your visa you MUST make an appointment with the Police Service of Northern Ireland for an International Visitor Registration just as soon as possible. Your letter from the Home Office should indicate whether this is a requirement of your visa:

Appointments are available each Tuesday between 11:30 and 15:00. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 11.00-19.00. Closed 15-30 for Lunch.

Bus: number 9A/9B bus from the City Hospital (and ask for Brookland Street)
Walking: It will take you approximately 20 minutes to walk from Queen’s University

When you register with the police, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you take the following items with you to your appointment:
1. Your passport and visa
2. Two passport-sized photographs
3. Registration fee - £34 in cash EXACTLY (no debit/credit cards accepted)
You must be able to state:
a. Your full address in Northern Ireland
b. The full title of your course of study at Queen’s University
You must update your Police Registration Certificate if you:
1. Change address, or
2. Have your visa extended.
Please Note: there will be no fee incurred to update your certificate.
