7 August

Start of the 1845 Challenge: the 1845 Challenge starts today – 18 things to do in 45 days to prepare for student life. It’s designed to work at the pace you need but be sure to share your progress with us on social media #LoveQUB

13 August

Launch of My Queen’s: We’re launching My Queen’s webpages on 13 August. Alongside our Campus Commitments to you, we have put together a range of information to keep you informed about what you will need to know when coming to Queen’s and throughout your first semester.

17 August

Pre-Semester Engagement Programme Launched: Check out our packed pre-semester engagement programme for new and returning students. Webinars, on-campus events, and lots of handy tips on making connections and how to life your best student life!

24 – 31 August

Enrolment and Registration Packs sent via Email: Keep an eye out on your email inbox for your enrolment and registration pack. This will have all the information you need on how to register or re-register with the University and when you will be able to access your timetable.

7 – 11 September

Enrolment and Registration Portal opens across different days. 7 September is for new Undergraduates, 9 September is for new and returning Postgraduates, and 11 September is for returning Undergraduates. 14 - 20 September

Pre-Semester Engagement Programme Delivery: Throughout this week the team over at the Student Wellbeing Service will be hosting a range of virtual and face-to-face events to connect you with campus and student life! Check out the programme when it is launched on 17 August.

19 September

Move-in weekend at Queen’s Accommodation: Packed everything you need? We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our safe and comfortable student accommodation.

21 September

Semester 1 teaching begins on 21 September: You will receive your timetable once you complete your enrolment and registration processes. Some programmes may start earlier than this date, but your School will advise you if this applies to you.

30 September & 1 October

QUBSU Online Freshers Fair Keep an eye out for details of the Students’ Union’s online Freshers’ Fair over at - This will allow all Clubs and Societies to reach new and returning students, spread the word about the amazing things they do, and sign up to any you are interested in!

Given the changing nature of the pandemic, these commitments are subject to the guidelines that may be in place at the time. For example, if restrictions are increased/eased in the future then facilities and services may not be delivered as described.
