Semester 1 Timeline


Check out our list of key dates to help keep you on track, prepare you for joining or re-joining the University, and things to watch out for!

Early August

Pre-Semester Engagement Programme: Information will be made available on the Activity and Transitions Programme, available via MyQueen’s.

10 August

A-Level Results Day: Best of luck! Whatever your results, we can help support you with your options. Confirm your place or see if there are Clearing options. Keep an eye out on the email you applied with!

23 – 30 August

Enrolment and Registration Packs sent via Email: Keep an eye out on your email inbox for your enrolment and registration pack. This will have all the information you need on how to register or re-register with the University and when you will be able to access your timetable.

6 – 10 September

Enrolment & Registration Portal Opens: The dates are staggered depending on your level of study, so check your Welcome Pack for your specific date and time!

13 – 17 September

Pre-Semester Engagement Programme Delivery: Throughout this week the team over at the Student Wellbeing Service will be hosting a range of virtual and face-to-face events to connect you with campus and student life! Check out the programme when it is launched in early August.

20 September

Semester 1 teaching begins on 20 September. You will receive your timetable once you complete your enrolment and registration processes. Some programmes may start earlier than this date, but your School will advise you if this applies to you.

28 – 30 September

Students’ Union Freshers’ Fair: Explore all things Students’ Union, including Clubs & Societies. There are over 200+ to pick from – so there’s something for everyone!

Weeks 1 – 13

Throughout the first semester, we will continue to provide you with ongoing induction and transitions support, engaging with student life via the Students’ Union, and up-to-date communications. Get in touch if you have any questions, we’re happy to help!

17 December

And that's a wrap! Semester 1 teaching ends on 17 December. Look back on the memories you have made and we look forward to seeing you again for second semester!
