Amy Smith (She/Her)

Hi everyone! I’m Amy, the Students’ Union President this year. I was your Postgraduate Education Officer last year and enjoyed every second of making a difference for our current and prospective students. I studied a Bachelors of Arts degree in Drama and English and am currently working towards my Master’s in Arts Management. I have been involved in all things SU since working in operations and the reception desk, and I am so excited to take on this role, ensuring more representation for the students here at Queen’s.

Throughout my time at university, I have loved every second, especially getting involved in Students' Union activities like clubs and societies. The Student’s Union has been the heart of my university experience, and I can’t wait to see what positive change myself and the team can bring for our prospective students.

Some priority projects I hope to work on for the upcoming year are:

• Cost of Living and Mental Health Support.
• Support for students taking on placement years/modules.
• Academic Assessment Reform.
