Access 2: Advanced – Part 1 [4 hours]
Event Description
Access is a sophisticated database application that allows users to make sense of complex data by consolidating it into user-friendly reports. This fast-paced course will look at the more advanced features of Access such as multiple table relations, parameter queries, forms and reports. It will also take a detailed look at form design, concentrating on form controls. There will be an opportunity to learn how to use data stored in external files and applications. This is a very practical course and is not suitable for complete beginners or those who have just completed the Access 1: Essentials course.
Aims/Aimed at
Staff who are experienced at using Microsoft Access and who wish to advance their knowledge or who are hoping to take the ICDL Advanced Database module.
Pre-requisites
Previous attendance at Access 1: Essentials or significant experience at creating Microsoft Access databases.
