Training and Support - Open Access - LibGuides at Queen's University Belfast

Designated training for all supervisors of Postgraduate Research (PGR) students who wish to gain an understanding of copyright and how it applies to an e-thesis

This course will make supervisors aware of Queen's requirements for e-thesis submissions and the copyright implications for this.

The training will include:

  • Defining copyright
  • Outlining the university's requirement for e-thesis
  • Explaining the concept of fair dealing
  • Outlining the process of seeking permission for copyright
