Introduction to Power Automate

Event Description

Power Automate is a service that helps you build workflows that automate time-consuming business tasks across applications and services.  Power Automate can be used to synchronize files, get notifications, collect data, and more. Power Automate is one of the Office 365 suite of apps.

Course objectives: 

  • Understand what Power Automates is and how it works 
  • Build flows from existing templates 
  • Build flows from scratch 
  • Understand how to work with triggers, actions and conditions 

Covid-19 Restrictions

Due to Covid-19 restrictions face-to-face training will not be offered at this time.  This course will take the following format:

  • Demonstrations of how to put together an example Power Automate flow will be held on:

8 February, 9.30 - 10.30

15 March, 2.30 - 3.30

  • Course participants will be given access to a workbook and recording of the session and will recreate the flow 
  • Course participants will contact the course instructor at s.mcmorrow@qub.ac.uk with any queries
