Managers/leaders and professional specialists in both A related (grade 7 and above) and Academic (Grade AC2 and above) mid level.



The aim of this course is to develop staff in the core Queen's behaviour of consulting with and working in partnership with others.  For thsoe staff who would need to develop the practical approaches and political awareness to be able to operate as a professional partner and work collaboratively with others.  This practical workshop will ehlp you develop skills that allow you to practically engage and communicate as a professional partner, learn how to support and engage with your partners by being an enabler not a barrier. 

This workshop will explore the following areas:

  • The benefits of working collaboratively with others
  • Building relationships
  • Generating ideas
  • Building consensus
  • Managing accountability
  • Overcoming barriers that may occur during collaboration
