Content:

Advanced communication for administrative roles such as contributing in meetings and presentations can be challenging for some people.  Making your contributions as effective as they can be, making your voice, ideas and viewpoint heard can feel difficult to achieve.  These communication methods rely on advanced skills to get the right balance and achieve your desired outcomes. 

 

Duration: half day

Overview

This workshop aims to enhance participants’ commitment, confidence and competence to contributing effectively to meetings.  It looks at what happens when people don’t contribute and over contribute.  It supports individuals to understand the value they can bring to the situation and develops their skills to do so.

This flexible range of learning courses is designed for staff in clerical and administrative support roles and will be offered 2-3 times each year.  Discuss your learning priorities, and agree with your line manager, the most appropriate sessions to support you in your role and to meet your development needs.
